"Fairness in the Nursing Practice" is a perfect example of a paper on care. The ethical healthcare promotion issue discussed in the selected article is practicing fairness among nurses when attending to patient's needs. Nurses experience the above ethical promotion issue in the U. S since they meet a wide range of patients who come seeking healthcare attention to the nursing facilities. The moral situation discussed by Epstein & Turner (2015) is directly associated with the currently witnessed instances of unfairness seen in healthcare facilities. Since hospitals provide healthcare services to a wide range of people, the patient is required to wait for several hours due to long waiting hours (Epstein & Turner, 2015).

According to Epstein & Turner (2015), nurses are tasked with examining patients before forwarding their files to the doctor for further medication and ensuring that those who came first were given priority. It is, however, worth noting that some patients engage nurses to be considered first due to the long queue was long. Epstein & Turner (2015) further suggest that most of the patients involved in the above nursing malpractice give out some tips or may have a close relationship with the nurse.

My view on how healthcare professionals can resolve the issueProfessional healthcare professionals can lessen the impact of unfairness by emphasizing more on accountability and transparency during decision-making. Epstein & Turner (2015) further highlight that nurses should encourage their peers to focus more on promoting fairness during decision-making. Again, engaging in information campaigns would as well work out where the clinicians and patients are educated more on hospital regulations. According to Epstein, & Turner (2015), nurses should instigate their seniors to provide comprehensive information to the entire nursing team as well as patients on various approaches to suppress issues related to corruption and nepotism.

Nurses should always ensure that health practices that do not promote the nursing practice, including corruption, healthcare fraud, and nepotism, have standard rules for straightening such issues. Avoiding corruption in nursing processes will be attained by promoting the detection and punishment of corruption cases. Epstein & Turner (2015) further opines that nurses should work collectively to ensure that anti-corruption agencies are in place to prevent and suppress healthcare fraud-related issues.

Overall, nurses should always ensure that those involved in healthcare fraud cases are subject to the relevant jurisdiction. Theories supporting my positionBeneficence is the first theory that is obtained from the code of ethics and can be used to address the issue of unfairness among nurses. Epstein & Turner (2015) opine that healthcare professionals should ensure that patients benefit fully from the nursing facilities' services. Concerning the situation under discussion, the author wanted to ensure that patients were served equally. Overly, the nursing practice should be geared towards benefiting potential patients equally and eliminating instances of health care fraud.

The theory of justice can as well be utilized by a nurse when dealing with a situation similar to the one discussed above. Epstein, & Turner (2015) suggest that the principle of justice is entirely concerned about ensuring fairness for the patients' services. Again, nurse’ s decisions should be free from bias hence attaining competence among the nursing team (Epstein, & Turner, 2015). Overall, the requirements of the theories of beneficence and integrity obtained from the code of ethics can be utilized to prevent instances of healthcare malpractice
