Trees, shrubs and cool air increases cognitive behavioural experiences. The children are, therefore, able to develop more than they do in other environmental settings. Children in schools without a beautiful natural environment may not score as high grades as those in an excellent physical environment. The environment should, therefore, be considered a crucial factor for recess among children in elementary schools.

It is vital to ensure that children in elementary schools are given adequate time to interact with the external environment.
