"Implementation of the Healthcare Program" is a wonderful example of a paper on the respiratory system. In the previous paper, there has been a strong focus on implementing a Childhood Obesity Program in  a  Latino Community in the Los Angeles  area  (Caviness (2010)  The program talked about wide arrays of initiatives to be taken to educate Latino children aged 12-17 on obesity issues and problems along with guiding and motivating them in the right direction.   It also included group discussion and individual discussion on obesity problems, along with the sharing of ideas and views in a compassionate manner.

This  particular assignment  aims at determining the  longevity of the implemented program, along with identifying the success and acceptance rate. To identify the longevity of the program, it is important to  analyze a few aspects of the program, including its impact, benefits, acceptance, and overall results.     Determinants of How Long to Run the Program  The major determinants of how long to run the program are accepted among the  participants, the success rate of the program, and overall results collected by the implementation of the program.   The primary objective of the program was to educate Latino Children on  obesity issues, along with helping them to get rid of obesity through an effective diet plan and rigorous exercise regimen.

It was assumed that four weeks would be good enough to fetch the desired results depending on the acceptance and zeal of the participants.   The program can only be discontinued if the proposed objective has been achieved in the desired manner. Thus, it is important to assess improvement and development through group discussion and individual discussions.   This would also help in comparing the past and present facts offering good insights on the overall development of each participant.

It needs to  be  mentioned that even if there  are  slight developments, participants would be motivated further to work on themselves without any  third-party  support.   This would help in  creating a feeling of  self-dependency  based on  a prescribed exercise regimen and diet plan.     Assessment of the Implemented Program  The assessment of the program is based on certain factors that include:   Meeting Goals- if the implemented program meets its goals and objectives, it would be  discontinued. The assessment of goals and objectives would be based on development and improvement in participants in terms of losing weight and switching to the right diet plan and exercise regimen.   Targeted Population Served- if the targeted population, including Latino Children aged 12-17,  would be served in terms of educating them on obesity issues and offering the right solutions, the program will be discontinued.   However, the motive is to serve Latino children in the Los Angeles area.   If all the participants are served well helping in achieving the goals and objectives of the program, it would be  discontinued by offering further assistance through quarterly visits.   Assessment of health- it is important to assess the health and diet regimens of the participants.

If  participants have switched to the proposed diet and exercise regimen offering solutions and  improvements,   then the program would be discontinued.   However,   regular visits  would be made to ensure the sustainability of the program.     Further Analysis-  It needs to be mentioned that an impactful program never ends but continues through mutual support and exchange of information sans physical platform.   The program after its discontinuation would be continued through  the efforts of local health communities, doctors, and  volunteers to maintain the level of awareness.   This would be based on passion and compassion, requiring little funding.     Thus, through mutual support and coordination, program's objectives would be further continued  (Lanza (2011)  Conclusion  The discontinuation of a program depends on  several  factors, and all these factors have been covered and presented well in an analytical and illustrative manner.
